Just come back from my run where one kind gentleman remarked "Well done for keeping going." in reply to my 'Good morning'. I felt really boosted by that. It's not easy running in the slight rain but I'm aware that if I'mm going to be a fair-weather runner there won't be much running this winter! I'm on Week 5 of Couch to 5K and have decided to do another week of level 2. Yes folks. I'm so glad I did as I got to the end and instead of climbing up a big hill to return home I climbed a much smaller one and jumped in the car. Definitely feeling myself getting fitter.

Running in the rain....
👍👏excellent! You are thinking like a runner too...get out there & run in spite of the weather!
Love that you smile and greet people 😊 💐
Really well done. Sometimes the weather can be a real mental blocker, but once you're out there, it's all good.
Well done for keeping going
Getting used to all different weather is just part of being a runner and you're feeling the benefits of it as well.
Well done you 🤗
Very well done! 😄
I love running in the rain if ( & only if) my torso is dryish & warm. - So I have a light breathable, waterproof jacket that does the trick. ( It is a cycling jacket so it’s long at the back - so warm backside too!) I also wear a running cap to keep the raindrops off my glasses. 😄
I am on wk 8, run 2 and I find I love running in the rain. You barely notice it and it can be so refreshing ... it's windy days that make me grumpy. Well done
Well done you! Going out when it's already raining takes quite a mindset 👍
I love a custard tart. I've just had 3 unhealthy days and now Im going back to no flour which serves me much better. I don't mind the rain as long as it's slight. I wear a cycle jacket too. Agree about the wind...not a favourite.
Today I struggled. Think I'm busting out of my running bra. I've got a looser one I'll wear on Friday. Friday will be my last day on Level 2...eeek! Was so glad when it was over. Pikelets bread and cake were round my neck like a stone. I came home and threw the rest of the pikelets in the bin. Much better!
