W9R3 COMPLETED!!! :) and oddly changed.....

I DID IT! Officially a C25K Graduate (do you reckon I can stick that on my C.V?).

It's been a bit of a challenging one. When I did W9R2, I think I pushed myself too hard at the end, and almost ended up being sick in a bush, much to the horror of my local dog walkers' association! I also turned my ankle over, IN MY OWN HOUSE, just whilst walking around on Monday, so I had to put off my run an extra day. In the end, one week after first doing W9R1, I completed R3 and feel sooooo good for doing it.

I'm not sure whether it was the four day break between my last runs, but I managed it, and still felt like I could go for another minute or two. I even ran further than I had done in R9W2 when I had been really pushing myself! I think my stride pattern may have changed. I was taking longer steps, which overall felt like I was going slower, but obviously where carrying me a little further than my normal lengths. I don't know, but I certainly felt like a better runner at the end of it.

I am a runner.....never thought I'd say that!

Well done, you. I'd never thought of putting it on a CV but I don't see why not. You can use it as an example of doing new things, seeing them through & sheer acheivement & stickability! Go for it!!

Well done, fantastic! Wonder if I should take 4 day breaks between each of my 4 remaining runs? Need some zest if I'm to get through! PS will try lengthening my stride, sounds a good tactic.

Well done paganrose. Sounds like you had a great graduation run. :) I like the idea of putting it on my CV. Interviewers/applications often ask what was your greatest achievement and I think I could well quote c25k. :D Providing I get through this last week, of course...
