Finished the final run of the programme yesterday!
In week 8 I found myself to keen to make it to 5km by the end, sped up and ran worse and felt tired. So in week 9, changed my tunes, left my watch at home, and had fun. Just ran about 4.6km* and will look forward to building up to 5km over the coming weeks /months, even if it takes longer than 30 minutes.
I had been doing runs every second day without fail, but in the past couple of weeks gave myself 2 days rest when I felt like it. And, with a niggling ankle, it might be a few more days before I get out there, with daily yoga til my next run.
(*though a glitch in run keeper said I ran 6. 5, doing my first km in 29 seconds 😅)
