W9R3 Completed

What a good programme. Like so many others I have now run for 30 mins for the third time in a week, after years of little exercise. I ran slowly and probably only went about 3.5km but I’m a bit fitter than I was in June, and I’ve started on the route to better health. Now for a follow up goal : going further in the same time, losing a bit of weight perhaps, and doing a Parkrun. I don’t think I’ll be going for 10km but who knows? Thanks to Iannodatruffe for the guidance and good luck to everyone on the plan. Here’s a photo of my favourite run when I was on holiday.

Yes, I’m sort of looking forward to it, and I’m still surprised to see myself saying that!

Well done - and what a fantastic location to run! I just completed W9R1 and all of you good people completing W9R3 are spurring me on to get through my next 2 runs and graduate on Friday.

Yes, the Lake District is wonderful. It’s taken me 53 years to get there but I’ll definitely be going back. You’ve done by far the hardest. From now on it’s consolidation all the way. Enjoy and good luck.

Well done Tallismorley! Pretty place - no wonder it’s your favourite run.

I am curious - did you download your photograph from your mobile? I’m trying to work out how to do this? When I click on the camera icon it goes to a blank screen and says ‘ nothing to see here’. The last time I downloaded a picture here I did it from my computer at home. Saw your beautiful snap and assumed you know how to do it 🤔

Hi. Yes I did but I’m not that tech savvy. I think I just clicked on the camera icon and it took me to my photo library I’m afraid. Is it possible that you haven’t given the health unlocked app permission to access your photos? Might be in settings? Good luck!

You were 100% right - thank you! You’re more tech savvy than you think. Just goes to show how much we under estimate ourselves 😉

Oh good. Delighted. You’re quite right about the underestimating by the way. Thank you for the kind comment.
