Well that went OK and I think because it's not as hot and I wore cooler running gear it was fine. I did a 1 minute sprint at the final minute and felt like a child again!! Although weird itchy legs again, but I think once I'm running longer I will be focusing on running and not fidgeting!! See you soon Run 2 ;)

Wow, well done you, I hope I can sprint the final minute next week too! I did W4R2 today and like you said the cooler weather makes such a difference. Does Laura say when it's halfway in W5? I thought she did in W4 so kept on going but then either she didn't or I missed that bit and turned too late.

Have you tried arnica cream on your legs? I used it around my knees at the start of C25K because they were a bit achey, and it says on the pot it's good for dry skin etc too.

Good luck with W5R2!

Hi 'Mitts' thanks, will try that, keep hearing good things about it. Yes Laura does say 'you've run half way now,' and 'also 1 min to go.' I think that's what spurred me on, it was the last min of the last run and I thought, just go! I know thing are going to get harder so making most of any leftover energy! Although I am feeling stronger if that makes sense. Good luck, hope you enjoy it... ;)

I know what you mean about feeling like a child with a sprint at the end! You are going so fast (and you know the end is in sight!) its almost like flying. Makes me forget about all the hard stuff I've just done! :)
