Still quite humid this afternoon even though the sun's gone. Taking it cautiously as my left leg is still twinging here and there. Praying it won't pack up on me like last time the more I run. Must remain positive. Caution was thrown to the wind though on the last minute I couldn't resist sprinting. I'm aware I'm frowning a lot towards the end of these runs and my face feels like I'm on a real mission, grrr!!! Anyway, did it, nearly at week 5...

Wow - where do you find the energy to sprint the end of the last 5 minute run? I can barely jog it! Well done, you seem really optimistic and its working for you!
Thanks little_kay, it was the last bit of music that seemed to rev me up! I find with these pod casts a lot is determined by the music and a lot of it is not stuff I'd listen to normally!
Thanks alcopop. I know once the adrenaline's going it's hard to be cautious, but it does make sense after when my leg's gone a bit stiff!!
Hi,
this made me laugh as I could've posted the exact same post. Did week 4 run 2 today too and started running faster in the last 2 1/2 minutes of the last 5 minutes. I also have some problems with my left foot, so our running experience sounds so similar! I tell myself though that if I just keep going and take extra rest days when my foot needs them it'll be fine. Hope your leg holds up! Let's keep going
