Just started week 5 - all out of sync with the bad weather but back on track now. Had been feeling a bit despondent because I found week 4 quite tough and couldn’t see myself coping up with the step up in week 5. On reflection I think I may have started each run a little faster than usual because it feels more natural to run now and it feels good to break into a run after the warm up walk. Been trying to eat better too and have cut out the sweet stuff.
Had a good run this morning and trying not to overthink the 20 minute run at the end of the week!

I’m dreading it yet looking forward to it at the same time! I know that if I can run 20 minutes I can complete the programme. When I’ve done it I’ll be crying with joy! Bit OTT but I do actually feel quite emotional about the whole thing!!
I've found every week tough, but managed to progress by believing in the programme. Sounds like you are doing really well - try not to worry about W5R3 and you will surprise yourself. Good luck! x
That's so kind of you - I was feeling quite inspired after my run - must be all those endorphins or something!
Happy running and keep posting. xx
Well done on your progress so far. I to found week 4 very tough, but you can do it. Trust the program, believe in yourself and boom, before you know it you'll be wondering what all the fuss over a 20 minute run was all about 😉!!
W5r3 is one that everyone dreads...don’t overthink it, get your music on & let your body do the work it needs to...leave the gremlins at home...you will be just fine
Thank you Oldfloss I’m taking a “just get on with it” attitude, as with most things in life! Reading everybody else’s experiences on this forum makes me feel it’s ok to be apprehensive but my body is ready for it and I will do it.
Very interesting quote too, I shall be thinking about dragons when I’m running ! 😊
