I haven't run for the last six weeks. How would you restart?

Graduated in May and really enjoyed the programme, ran every other day. Since finishing the schedule I slowly lost motivation, and for no good reason I haven't run for almost 6 weeks. Really want to get myself going again so the question is where do I start. Should I go back 6 weeks and do week 3?

Why not try the week 5 podcasts? The runs are broken down so you would get an indication of your fitness level and could take it from there. And then once you are back into it you could give the new podcasts a try to give you a new focus.

Good luck :)

I would say week 5 is a good place to start, i am nearing graduation and have a fear i too will lose motivation, it will be tough Hope you get back into it, think of all the hard work you put in you dont want that to go to waste do you?! the longer you leave it the harder it will get.

Good Luck :-)

Welcome back Bayview, try week 5 and see how you get on, listen to your body, you will soon know if you need to go back further.

No need to lose motivation now that we have the new Podcasts C25k+.

I would just go and do a run. For fun. If you do 10 minutes - great. If it's 20 minutes - fantastic! This will give you an idea of where to re-start in the programme. I hope you enjoy it!
