Oh my goodness, tried Stepping Stone on the the new 5k+ podcast this morning, and it nearly killed me!! I knew even once I graduated I was a slow runner, but didn't realise quite how slow until I tried the Stepping Stone. I did have to walk a couple of times to get my breath back, but didn't give up!! will keep going, it can only get better! :-)

I too did this podcast for the 1st time today. and look forward to my running getting better. It challenged me to up my pace and push myself harder than I had since graduating in April. I kept up until the last increase at 25 mins and was happy with that. This program is just what I needed to take my running that next step. Looking forward to increasing my speed so I can finish the 30min at the pace set. It is great to have you back Laura:)

yes I agree, it is great to have Laura, I've been using the week 9 podcast, even after graduation, even the the music was a bit tedious. Looking forward to being able to keep up with this for the whole 30 mins!!

Well done, keep going. :-)

I tried it yesterday and failed - found even the warm-up difficult to keep up with, lol. I managed to run non-stop for 5 minutes and did the next 5 between walking bouts. But in all, I was happy that I did close to 4k in 32 mins despite walking much more than running. It's gonna be a while before I get there I guess..

I know, it's a bit of a shock to the system after graduating isn't it!! i'm sure we'll get better, keep up the good work. :-)

After failing my first outdoor run today (did the whole Couch to 5k program on a treadmill, doh!) I am now very tempted to try this podcast to have Laura's help again!

I feel better to hear that I'm not the only one having a few difficulties after graduating though! I'll get on these podcasts and will have to let you all know! :)

Keep at it, we can do it!

it is very different running outside, but I love it, I did have to do one of my runs on a treadmill as I was away from home, and didn't really enjoy it, although it's great for keeping a steady pace:-) I'm going to give the stepping stone podcast another go on Wednesday morning, hopefully it will get easier!

Keep running, we'll get there! :-)
