Ok, so posting here before my run today really helped me to hold myself to account and kick myself out the front door!
Consolidation Week 1 Run 1 done!!!
I used the C25K+ Stepping Stone podcast and it was good to still have Laura pushing me on. Also really pleased the music included is much much better - even a bit of funky house!
Discovered a number of new things to ponder:
- I am not a fan of 150BPM running - feels too slow and this section felt like it would never end!
- Much more comfortable with 155BPM
- Living for 160BPM
I think itβs the ex-dancer in me but I really enjoyed matching my steps to the beat - this familiarity really helped me push through and (again) I am happy and surprised with my stats!
Thank you to everyone who responded to my morning moaning post - you all helped me to snap out of my head (for 32:43 minutes at least!).
