Wk5 run 3 not too bad..

because I run by myself, I don't normally talk so when I overtook someone walking to work, I managed to say 'you'll overtake me up the hill' and give a carefree laugh! I ran up and down my usual lane, then started back up until Laura said stop. Towards the end and running downhill, I thought I might be able to run a bit extra, but I'd had enough. Really pleased to have run for 20 mins, and I think that if I wasn't on a part uphill slope, I'd find it much easier. I can't believe that I can run for 20 minutes and partly uphill too.

One thing was a bit of a shock though. Don't ask me why, but I thought all the podcasts were 30 minutes long, so it was a bit of a shock when Laura said that there would be longer runs. I know, there would have to be longer ones, but I suppose I thought we'd just have to run faster!!

Well done. I did W5R3 too this morning, it wasn't easy by any means but feels like real progress. Big milestone passed!

PS liked the 'carefree laugh' too

Well done from me too. I did W5R3 this evening & now feeling very pleased with myself. Everyone dreads it, but when we actually come to do it it's ok. Like Soozz says, a big milestone passed!
