Well that didn't hurt as much as I thought...

On Monday, I moved into week 2 and it hurt. It was hot, so I left it late in the day (7:30) and went out to run around a lake. I barely made it to the end.

Today, run 2 of the second week, was pathetically easy. I forgot to pace myself on the first 90-second run and still did okay. I really let myself go on the last 90 seconds just to feel like I had pushed myself.

It was so strange to have that two days after a run so bad I was considering re-running week 1. I had just spent about twenty minutes on the toilet (I started taking iron supplements yesterday, but forgot what they do to me) and yet I felt fine to run instead of drained and sore.

Bizarre, but I hope Day 3 is just as easy. I left it until 8:30 and watched the sun set, so it was also quite cool (what a difference that hour made) and the paths were empty. It was a good day.

I can sympathise with your problems with iron supplements - I'm having to take them quite regularly and it isn't fun :-(
