Week 5 Run 3 - yes! yes! yes!

I did it - I actually ran nonstop for 20 minutes!! Never would have believed it was possible for me. The first 5 minutes were tiring trying to breath properly and not to go too quickly but soon I felt I was ok and the time and distance flew by. Checked when I got home and I'd run 1.85 miles - this is someone who couldn't have run 50 yards to save her life a few weeks ago!!

Good Luck for Friday! Think the fact that my run had a long gradual downhill for the first 5mins or so helped immensely with speed and distance!!!

Fantastic - well done, doesn't it feel great?! Did W6 R1 on Wednesday and found it strange going back to interval running, maybe the heat didn't help but I found it hard going - still I know not every run is a 'good run'!

Good Luck for Week 5! Sure you'll do it - it's a great feeling at the end of run 3 when the 20 mins end!!

What a shock it was to see 20 minutes in there after the 8-minute intervals, but WE DID IT! Hooray!
