I got up this morning at 6.50 and looked out of the window, oh no its pouring with rain, its misty and a bit of a wind blowing too. I've had my banana my cup of green tea but I'm still sitting here. I just cannot muster the enthusiasm to go out and get soaked AGAIN. I really must be getting soft in my old age!! :(

I've just discovered something which might help some people though. A jogger had written a great long blog the other day and lost it, gone, never to be seen again!! Well the same has just happened to me and it was because Java was doing updates. Instead of starting all over again I clicked on the blue arrrow at the top of the page to go back a page and what do you know there's my blog :) At least something has gone right this morning, now can I just magic the rain away!?! :)

I am also looking out a window that is rain-streaked - well, let me rephrase that - rain is pounding against it. And judging from the low cloud it is here to stay - I have a long run, time-wise, tonight so I need to get my shoulder monkey quitened otherwise I won't be heading out.

I went out this morning for my sins and got soaked! Loved it though as really helped to cool me down :-)

Hope you get your mojo back soon

I'm an expert at running in the rain these days, I've only had two dry outings since May!!!!

Oh I feel your pain, when will it stop raining?? I managed to get a run in last night before it started but it wasn't very pleasant since it was so humid. I don't blame you for being less than enthusiastic, I'll pray for some sunshine or at least a break from the rain for you.

You would think to listen to me that I was the only one being rained on!! Sensible girl grabbing that dry spell yesterday, wish I had but it was a rest day. Hope your training is still going well.

Yes going ok but slightly dreading my long run this week, but sure I'll manage. I hope you get some better weather for your holidays, I did hear it was meant to brighten up next week.

Ooohhh don't say the 'A' word, we haven't had summer yet, then before we know it it will be 'W' again. My hubby unnounced last night that this summer we haven't had any long bright evenings at all. Up here in the far NE we usually have daylight in mid summer until 10.30-11.00 didn't happen this year, we often used to sit in the garden with a glass of wine/beer, huh that hasn't happened either. Its no wonder I'm fed up. Sorry rant over, I've given myself a good slap. :)

Come to think of it, last year we sat out in the garden having breakfast most days. Not been able to do it at all this year. I have loved running in the rain I must admit. Maybe I would not have got so far on C25K if it had been boiling hot (so having rain has had some rewards, well for me anyway ;))

Loved your rant.
