I was so looking forward to my wk7r2 today! Despite having a head cold and resting up yesterday after work. I was just starting to feel better today and it has been SUNNY all morning! Then, driving home it started to rain. Psheesh I thought, rain won't stop me. Then I thought hmm... Looks a bit sleety... Then FULL BLOWN SNOW! NOOOOOOO! I HATE SNOW!
So I couldn't go out for my run boohoo. But I did just do 30 mins on my treadmill instead. This is exactly the reason I got my treadmill ... For rubbish weather days! And I guess the extra day (please snow be gone tomorrow) rest will do my cold good! Grrr

Not for me. It's a mechanical treadmill so you have to hold the handles and walk to keep the momentum going. No running. But it burns calories to aid my weight loss so I'm happy with it. But outdoor running is so much better!
The time on the dreadmill does count, some people have done the whole of C25K on the dreadmill, good to have one at home, of course you call it it's proper name, a treadmill.
Haha I don't dread mine! But it's very different from outdoors. As mines mechanical and I can only walk fast on it at a 5% incline it feels different and uses different muscles in the legs. It doesn't feel natural but it works up at good sweat and (hopefully) burning calories. I use it on my non-c25k days rather than as part of....
I pass a gym sometimes near to where I live and can see inside to where the treadmills and stationary bicycles and other equipment are, sometimes they are practicing yoga or planking, other times they are on treadmills or stationary bikes, I notice the age group who use that gym and equipment are young men and women who are in their 20's and 30's.
I'm with you on that prayer! I don't want it to settle as the kids will be off school and work has already said they expect us in regardless of snow and even if we have to bring the kids with us! Nightmare!
