Week 1 run 1 this morning. Couldn't manage to run for the full 60 seconds for the last three runs. Am I just super un-fit? Hopefully I will manage it next time.

You are not alone Sarah. Not everyone achieved all the full 60 seconds the first time.

What is important is that you've started and that is the hardest step to take. Everyone is different and the great thing about c25k is that you can do it at your pace...if you have to repeat runs until you feel comfortable to move on so be it.

Good luck with your next run. Keep posting to let us know how you get on :)

Dont worry, you have made a start and you might find next time is easier. Good luck.

Look at it the other way - you managed the first runs and part of the last 3 - well done. You might be going a bit fast early on - as Laura says it's just a gentle jog. Also are you running uphill in the later runs, that's hard.

Keep it up and good luck.

Majority of us experienced this on week 1, the programme is about building stamina and endurance - next time perhaps try starting at a slower pace, nice and gentle, and see if this makes a difference. At this stage, just try and keep going until the end speed does not matter this will come later, hopefully this technique will leave you with some puff for the final jog bursts. You've started, which is the most important thing - well done you.

Seriously, I thought I'd died at the end of my first run, grit your teeth & crack on cos the sense of achievement is amazing. You can do it, just take it slow & steady.
