Just completed run 1 of week 1. Never really been keen to run before but my goal is to be able to run 10k race for life on 20th May (or at least run most of it). πŸ˜€

Congratulations on making a start. You won't regret this and having an aim of a race is a great incentive.

Have you read this healthunlocked.com/couchto5... It is designed to give you most of the basic info that you need to get started.

Just take it nice and steady....it is not a race....yet.

Be prepared for your life to change in unimaginable ways.

Enjoy the journey.

Well done! It's a great way to start the year! Enjoy the programme and take your time: by running slow, you'll build up your stamina gradually and for a long term, which is what you want if you want to run 10 K in May.
