First consolidation run

Decided I couldn’t manage without the lovely Steve Cram so I’ve signed up for his consolation runs. Today was 10 mins at 80% of normal run pace (difficult for me as I would be practically walking!!). 20 minutes at normal pace and 5 minutes going for it. I managed about 4 minutes at the faster pace but wasn’t sure how fast to go so quite pleased with overall run. With the walks at either end managed 5.5k. Another lovely morning, just one more week in sunny Spain!

No thrills today .. just tedious waiting around, and kept being sent out for an hour or so. But at least I got plenty of steps in .. ten minutes walk from court to my daughter’s house for a cuppa every time..trial cancelled in the end.. back again tomorrow..🙄

Well done - that’s some distance. I did my first run yesterday. Struggled to be honest - find it harder to motivate myself now the program is done. I think I did 3.3km in 30 minutes

It’s worth looking at the progression runs as I’m hopeless unless I have someone in my ear telling me what to do!

I’m envious as I’m not running at the moment with an achy back. Steve is the best!

You will get back on it. I had a year out with Long COVID before re starting C25K, enjoying it now.
