45 and a day! Wk9 R1 a little later than planned, but back on schedule.

Was planning to run on Monday but got a silly summer cold-very runny nose and constant sniffing. Normally I only get a 'cold' for 24 hrs so expected to run Tuesday-but was not to be. Yesterday was my 45th birthday, Im not one to celebrate and also ended up working a 13 hr shift-so still didnt run. But with the mind set that 'Im half way to 90 now' I cant give up on this running lark. So I waited until the rain stopped this evening and set off. Didnt think Id be able to do much as I havent run since Saturday, but ran 35 minutes because I wanted to see if I can get to the 5k! Still need to check distance after a shower-but Im hopeful....

Happy birthday! Good luck with the 5k but I am in awe of your organisational / juggling skills to even get out of the door...

Thanks RhonaL.Went on mapmyrun yesterday and it was 3.2mls-so I did it! But for the first time my thighs and groin are killing me! But glad I did it!
