Didnt plan a parkrun today really as Im just getting over a chesty cough and cold. But I woke up early, looked out and just could not resist the lovely weather. Loved it as usual. The weather was fab here too for our parkrun. The sun was lovely but a nip in the air still though. I enjoyed getting out for parkrun as I haven't been for some weeks. My legs felt good so my 10k training must be helping as I felt I could carry on after the finish line lol. Time was a new pb for my 7 year old at 34.34. I am very proud of her! She will get a trip to the cafe with me later for tea and cake.

Sounds lovely Jacs! Gorgeous day today - I am really looking forward to the lighter evenings and having more run options again during the week. I will be able to run on my trails even more!

Well done. Let's hope we are still doing parkruns at 70 and 80 aswell. The first people in my group of friends are turning 60 this year, but I have a few years to go. It sounds so old, but people on here prove it's not!

60 is the new 40 πŸ˜‰.

One runner this morning was doing his 100th Parkrun....he is 70 years old! If I carry on I will be able to better that , fingers crossed πŸ‘πŸΌ

Only have 90 left to doπŸ˜‡.10 each year now and i will beat his achievement by 10%. Unfortunately I doubt i will match his time.......I am always at the back of the pack, but hey.....i run 😎

POOH !! - I am 70 and I have only done 96 parkruns!!!! :) Never mind - 4 more weeks to go for my 100. Training for this half marathon in 2 weeks time has put me right off my 5K game !! :)

Whoop whoop! Yes it was lovely at ours too, and yes, it'll be a vest and shorts before long if this gorgeous weather continues. πŸ˜ŽπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ
