To all those who are doing this programme the Race for Life or any other 5K, 10K, half marathon etc......
I'm doing the Race for Life 5K on sunday and yes i'll be thinking of my loved ones who have died from cancer but i will also be thinking of how my life has changed since doing this programme, and all of you who have inspired me through your blogs (i may not reply to them all but i read the majority of them... think i'm addicted lol!). You have kept me motivated and instilled the belief in me that i can do this!
Thank you and good luck xxxxx

Mine is in pontefract also and I was very excited about it until I realised its the day after I go on the running clubs night out! So, that will be fun
good luck with your race! I did mine a couple of weeks back and it was just amazing, it is sad and emotional but also very uplifting and inspiring at the same time. The warm up before the race was one of my favourite parts as it was so fun. Have a lovely day and let us know how you get on xx
Hi Shelley, this has changed my life too, I am also running 5k for cancer research on Aug bank holiday weekend. Thank you for boosting me today, I was sitting on my couch in my running gear trying to motivate myself to get up and do run 2 of week 9 and you have inspired me. No more procrastinating, i will finish my cup of tea and hit the road..................Good luck on your run, I am sure you will enjoy it and the sense of achievment you will have afterwards
