Completed W5 R1 today, really pleased. Even more pleased that the terriers are still keen to come out when I have my running gear on :) I actually appreciated a bit of drizzle while out running this morning.

As I was downloading the next batch of podcasts this morning, I realised with horror that W5 R3 is REALLY long. I hope we can do it. Any advice, apart from leaving the terriers at home?!

of course you can do it! It's amazing how runs 1 and 2 get you prepared for 3 even though it seems so much longer. I told myself it was just r2 joined up and did it yesterday. I had to slow down for just the last two minutes so I was really pleased. You can do it too! :)

I was dreading W5R3 like most people - and when the time came, it really wasn't that bad. I even enjoyed it a little because the sense of triumph and relief at the end of it was fantastic. It was at that point that I really started trusting Laura and the plan - it really does seem to prepare you for the longer runs. Now in week 7 and haven't looked back. So hang in there and I hope you have a similar experience!

Def. take terriers with you. My dogs loved it and kept me going towards the end.
