Well, after last Saturday's successful W8 R1 I was ready to carry on and on Monday dutifully walked through a heavy storm to the gym to do R2.
Disaster!! I just couldn't be bothered and had no motivation and even worse forgot my shoes so had to use my old worn out ones. Stopped at 8 minutes with no wish to do any other form of exercise in its place so went back to work instead. The rest of the week I just couldn't face it and made no attempt whatsoever to go running.
Anyway,I woke up early this morning and went out in the sunshine and managed to do W8R2. I struggled a little at the start eventhough I was extremely slow but Laura soon told me I was half way. I decided to speed up a little and managed to run a bit further than my last run - 2.4 miles in 28 minutes.(just under 4k). Finished with my face in its usual shade of traffic light red and I can't see I'll make 5K by running just 2 more minutes but chuffed that I'm back on track.
