Graduated Sunday - did my 5k Tuesday, did W1D1 on Thursday but at fast speed which was fun, but surprisingly different and today I braved the outdoors, hubby drove me 1.8 miles from home I walked for the first 5 mins and run and thought OMG this is hard, walked a bit, run a bit, run a bit and 22 mins later arrived home and was dripping a bit ...... well that was certainly different work out week, as I have not decided how to go forward with my running after completing the program. I did treat myself to some new trainers, tops, trousers and bras and hubby upgraded his watch and gave me is Garmin Vivofit.
Lets see what next week brings - happy running people, off to the fireworks

Well done for trying out lots of different things with your running this week, all of it will help you progress & move forward. Enjoy those fireworks, you've earnt them!
Think I may do a 10 min run x 3 with a break on Tuesday as planned last week. It was great mixing it up, but need a plan going forward or I will lose interest x
wow that is a varied week glad you got home ok ooh more fireworks ,enjoy
Yay, Judef has come out(doors) Sounds like a great plan to be dropped off, then you are on the way home right from the start whistle! Sounds like you are well equipped for the next stage, whatever form you decide it will take.
Hehe- I know all those people saying try outdoors its great, well I feel like I'm a bit of a C25K Cheat doing it on the treadmill, it so much harder on the roads, my mindset needs to get in the zone me thinks. Will give it some more goes, even got a nice yellow fluorescent top for night running - x
Hi Judef - pardon my ignorance but what is W1D1 (is it a 10K program???) I have my runs organised in that they start and end at home (like an official marathon - marathon that don't start and end in the same place or thereabouts aren't classed as official - useless piece of information of the day) or if I drive to the run - they start and end at my car.
My sister in law, when she was in training for one of those moonlight marathons, she was walking, got her hubby to drive and drop her further and further away from home - I'm surprise he didn't tell her to get a bus after she'd passed 14 miles!
If I ever win the lotto - I'm going to hire a coach on a bike to cycle behind me and shout at me - that would be so cool
W1D1 is week one day one - it is the couch to 5k, started back at week one
I got him to drive me, so that I was running mostly downhill - got to think clever - I think I may drive to my local park and do laps, this way my nosy neighbor wont be watching me run. sounds like your sister in law has a good hubby - dont think mine would go 14 miles bless him
If I ever win the lotto - I'm going to get my hubby to coach me on a bike so that he can get some exercise to
