Did the two 8 minute runs this morning. Felt like I could have kept going at the end of the first one (which bodes well for Sunday), but I was glad when the second one was up. It remains to be seen how I'll get on on Sunday BUT
- I have now passed the halfway point in this programme with 14 runs completed and only 13 more to go until I achieve my goal.
- I have confidence that the people who put this plan together know what they're doing and that I WILL be able to run for 20 minutes on Sunday.
- Lots of other people have done this already. If they can do it then so can I.
A day off running tomorrow. And a shower now!

Good progress! I'm only a little ahead of you...it's hard...but, yes, this programme is well thought out, and it does work...and such a wonderful feeling of accomplishment as each new goal is achieved!
Well done. good luck with run 3 but I'm sure you will surprise yourself. I personally found it to be more of a mental challenge than physical one (that doesn't mean I wasn't nackered at the end of it though) - at 18 minutes I started to think "that'll do" - slapped myself on the wrist and carried on for the last two minutes. Keep us posted.
