Oh my word, just looked ahead at week 5, I am doing my week 4 run 3 on Tuesday.
Run for 20 minutes?? Really? I am not pessimistic by nature, but not sure at all that I'll be doing that in a week's time! Did you all find it do-able? Did anyone stick with week 4 a little longer?

Week 5 run 3 was good, it was 1 and 2 were the problem!!! The fear factor possibly made me prepare better psychologically, and gave me more determination, but it was no where near as hard as I thought it would be
Honestly, I think all of us who have gone through this programme with very few exceptions thought that run was going to be tough or impossible. But it really really is fine - the challenge is a mental one, if you have done all the sessions leading up to it your body can definitely do it!
I spent the whole day feeling queasy with anticipation before I went to do my run (was using the gym late evenings when very few other people were left there!), I went along saying to myself "well you are going to give it your best shot!" and just gobsmacked myself cos it was genuinely fine, after the first 10 mins, it just flew by!
I felt exactly the same thing; I felt sick to my stomach all day prior to my run. I thought there was no way I'd be able to run for 20 minutes but Laura just gets you through it!
I did R2W5 3 times before I plucked up the courage to tackle the third run and that was sort of by accident as I started the R3 podcast by mistake and thought 'What the hell!'. Guess what - it was fine! In fact I found that I got into a really good rhythm and sort of 'into the zone'. A whole new experience for me as I've been a couch potato all my life and really avoided exercise apart from walking. The relevation for me is the difference getting out regularly makes. There is a huge difference between running three times a week and twice a week. If you've been sticking to running 3 times a week and following the programme then don't worry and go for it. You will probably surprise yourself and if it doesn't go well what's lost? Just go back too the start of week 5 and try again.
I just completed week 5 run 3 and i can honestly say i never thought i would be able to complete it. However at the end of it i felt as if i could do it again!!! just remember to pace yourself.
i did week 4run 2 yesterday and I plan to do the final week 4 run tomorrow. I am in the same situation as you. I cannot see myself running for 20 minutes. I think that I will start with the first run of week 5 during the weekend and see what happens!! Good luck!
