Well what can I say, I did it, 9 weeks ago I didnt think i would stick to, never run for 30 mins none stop. I remember all those years ago at school, I would shy away in the corner when I thought I was doing cross country in P.E. can I call myself a runner, well Laura thinks so. I know this is just a proving ground, I can do not only 30 mins, but I can do 5k as well. Next week is a whole new start, set new goals, and continue to challenge myself. Oh just so you guys know during these 9 weeks I managed to shift almost 2 stone. Can I please have my badge, I should of graduated last night, but hey had to do weekly shop, my gorgeous wife insisted.

Very well done you, it's great to hear from people graduating, gives me hope it will be me one day, though I know I won't get the 30 mins and 5k at the same time and can only dream of 2 stone weight loss!!!!

Look forward to seeing how you get on for the future, well done again!

Well done on graduating. It's a great feeling, isn't it ? And losing 2 stone in 9 weeks is brilliant. You must be feeling so proud of yourself and rightly so !

I do feel rather chuffed with myself, I just keep thinking back to the first podcast I did. I thought that was challenging, there will be more blogs to come. Thank you

Well done on graduating and doing 5k!

And 2 stone.

Surely thats not just down to running? What eating program are you following?

:) :)

I haven't really been doing a diet. Porridge for breakfast, sandwich for lunch, and a normal tea. One thing I have done is cut down on dcaffeine, drink lots of water. And if I fancy a tipple, I will have a glass of vino tinto or a whiskey and ginger. More importantly I never skip a meal

2 stone! That is amazing. You must feel great.

I do try to be the best hubby and father I can be, thank you for your comment. I do feel amazing, would like to trim down a bit more, and must do an official 5k race, and then increase my runs, the buzz I get is amazing.

I have tried to reply to your nice comments, cannot get them to send. How long does it generally take to get that shiny badge.

I'm not sure what has happened to the admin chap JR21 but worth sending him a message. Go to community through the links at the top and then admins. He should pick it up though.

Try a park run if there is one near you. They are fun and very encouraging.

Have fun!
