HI guys my 2nd run of week 3 was bad as i pulled a muscle. Now i am wondering if it would be worth me going to a gym and using a treadmill to get used to inclines before i use them on my runs.
So annoyed at myself for the pulled muscle and i had done my streches as well.
Any advice would be appricated

Did you do stretches before a warm up? It is recommended that you don't stretch your muscles until you have had a bit of a warm up - such as inbetween the warm up walk and your running sections. If the stretch the muscles when the aren't properly warmed up it can lead to injury.
A good warm up instead of simply stretching could be walking lunges rather than holding static ones; short running bursts lifting your knees high, followed by kicking your bum...I'm pretty sure there is a section in an old Health & Fitness mag I have if I can find it and I'm sure other have tips to add.
I hope your pulled muscle doesn't give you too much bother and you can get back out there soon!
As for joining the gym to use the treadmill, I think the answer is "it depends" !
I used the treadmill at the gym for my first few weeks BUT the gym was part of an all-inclusive deal where for £26 a month I can use the gym whenever I want and go to any fitness classes I want at any of about six leisure centres. If you only want to use the treadmill then it might not be worth it but if you think you'll make good use of other facilities then perhaps it would be worthwhile. Strength & resistance training to help you core strength would also benefit your running. You might also find that you have to make a bit of a financial commitment for a minimum period so be careful what you sign up to.
