I am so sorry.

Do not stress yourself or put anytime pressures on yourself, get sorted.

Then rebuild and rexamine your running body and running brain that will be efficient and sustainableand enjoyable , you can do it, you have already proved that to yourself,

Read everything on this forum while your resting.

Enjoy and looking forward of seeing your journey,

Thank you. I have been running, but just doing 2-3km blasts. I wanted to do 5/6kms again.

Well done on the return... but take care of the calf.

Very gentle massage and maybe read this.. some great advice here.

Having had a calf tear.. it is important not to keep running on it, until you are sure things have sorted.

Oh thank you - I’ll have a read.

I walked home and if felt like it was easing up so tested the water with the slowest jog ever, but uh uh. Not having it.

It’s being iced and I have arnica balm.

Just be aware of it...:)

I have always tried to do everything right throughout the years I have run and still managed to get a calf tear! I went out when I thought I had rested and exercised, and it kicked in again... twice more, before I realised that it was more than a pull.

I was on the IC for a fair while with my injury, but I am sure you will be fine..I am obviously over cautious :)
