Thought this would be tougher than it was

Well after a long weekend in Liverpool enjoying city life ,wine and over indulgence in food . This morning I got out of bed and dressed ready for my run . Week 7 run 2.

I sort of thought to myself that I would struggle because of all the booze and fatty foods .To be honest it was tricky but I plodded on .

I'm really loving it. I still can't believe that I couldn't run 100 meters at the beginning of this and I now run miles without stopping.

I grin constantly when I tell people I'm doing this program. Some people are still negative towards it though and explaining the first few weeks to them is like explaining surgery or rocket science. But never mind I'm a runner and I'm more than proud of myself πŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒ

Ne’er mind other folk, you just carry on loving your runs πŸ˜ƒπŸ’ͺπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

It’s really only other runners that get it 😁. Which is why we’re here πŸ‘

Well done. I have found that once you get past a certain point, previous night's alcohol doesn't introduce a drag factor...

How can people possibly be negative about this plan?!

Thanks Rob. I'm not much of a drinker anyway normally.

I think some people just like to find a negative in anything.I was trying to explain to someone about the walking in the program. There response was how will it train you to run if you walk more.

What anyone else thinks is their problem!

We don't do this for others but for ourselves, for a fitter and healthier future. πŸ‘πŸ˜‰

You're doing great, don't let them bring you down 😁
