I have an MP3 player but it isn't an iPod, so I just copied the files into the music folder of the MP3 player on the computer. But I have read others on here have downloaded the podcasts from iTunes? Don't have any idea about Apple software, so dunno if that downloads straight to the player or to the computer first, and therefore you have already done that step? But thought I would try to help! Hope someone can help you.

I cant get it to go to the music file or podcast file - it seems that the itunes version is no longer there, it cant be found in the searcha nd there is another question somewhere about it. Just so frustrating as I want to get using it. oh well.... thanks for answering though :)

well, after pressing lots of buttons and getting very frustrated I think I have done it, unfortunately no idea how I did it to help anyone else, but looks like they are now downleading to my phone - perfect :)

With an iPhone you can download it from iTunes just like you would if you purchased music. Just run iTunes (on the phone) and search for 'NHS couch to 5k'. You should see two results. Tap the correct one, then it lists all the individual podcasts. You then just tap the "Free" icon against each one to download them to your iPhone.

The alternative is to download them with iTunes on your computer then sync them to your iPhone or iPod through iTunes. Just like if you purchase a song in iTunes.

To play them when you go out running you go Music -> More -> Podcasts -> NHS Couch to 5K and tap the right episode.

Cheers,

Duncan

I had issue getting it onto my ishuffle, turns out it was partly cus its oooold. Instead of syncing it through itunes like you normally would I need to drag and drop from the podcast to the ipod, but that works for me, if that helps anyone!
