MP3 PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

Can anyone recommend an MP3 player on which I can listen to podcasts and music but with bluetooth headphones?  I don't want to go over the top price wise though. I get fed up of the cable on my current headphones when I am running but the Apple shop said my current ipod can't deal with bluetooth. Thanks.

Stupid question maybe, I imagine you've already ruled this out... but do you have bluetooth on your phone? I had the same dilemma (I have the small square iPod, which I love because of it's tiny size, but kept getting bugged by the cables. I just put a playlist on my phone (Android) which I link up to my bluetooth headphones. Zero investment, and less stuff to carry around.

Yes I suppose I do have it on my phone but I  like the small ipod. But maybe I should have a rethink and do the same as you. Thanks

If you've got loadsa money, I like the look of the Tom Tom spark running watch with music and Bluetooth and heart rate monitor and all sorts of knobs and whistles.  I can't afford it, but if I could it would be in my shopping basket right now!!

I have an ipod classic which doesnt have bluetooth, but you can get a bluetooth transmitter from Amazon which is a small light box of tricks that you just plug into the headphone socket and bingo! Only snag is, it needs charging, you get the charging lead which plugs into computer USB or mains with USB mains plug, and it would dangle while you run. You can also get transmitters that plug directly into the bottom charging/docking socket of the iPod, but are more expensive. I have the Bluetooth headphones as well, bought them together from Amazon...
