I am new to this, I only discovered it yesterday. I can't download the podcast onto my phone, any suggestions? I presume it tells you when to walk and when to run. Otherwise any suggestions o how to time yourself doing this? Thank you.

This pinned post lays out all the timings for all the runs but much better if you can work with the podcasts as Laura, the coach, offers tips and encouragement as well as telling you when to stop and start running. How about buying a cheap MP3 player?

I've bought a watch with a stopwatch on it and use that, I just have to remember how many reps I've done - but this will get easier as I do more running and less walking intervals.  Good luck!

What type of phone do you have?

WhAt phone do you have? It's really easy on my iPhone 5 with the podcast app thing. You can stream them live or download )better when data signal gets poor when out)

In which case, there shouldn't be any problem downloading and installing the app or the podcasts.

For the app, go to the Google Play Store (there's an icon/link on your phone) and search for the "One You Couch 5k" app. Install! The app lets you play your own music if you wish.

Alternatively, go the NHS C25k website and there are links to the podcasts for each week of the program. Download each to the phone. The podcasts are individual audio files for each h week. The have there own "music".

App or podcasts... Your choice :-)

Both tell you when to run/walk etc.

Good luck!

Thank you, I've not been on here for awhile, but tried out the app today and it worked, I can't get the podcast to work for some reason but I've got the app anyway now. I went out for my first 'proper' attempt today and although I have been aching since I feel I've  archived something, but it was not easy.
