What is your post- run routine?

I'm interested to know how different runner's end their runs. Mine is definately walking home during cool down, drinking water/diluted squash, 5 mins or so stretching (calves, hamstrings, inner thighs, shoulders) glass of milk then shower (there is no shower quite like a post run shower...it feels so damn good!)

Mines the same, without the milk! I might then look over the stats if I used my garmin (which I tend to for the long runs) and then log the run on the goodrunguide website if I can remember.

Same without the milk. I usually have a plate of fruit, pear, kiwi, grapes and banana. Then relax for a bit.....

If it's a work day, I do my warm down. Get in grab a glass of water, stretch then jump in the shower. Eat by brekkie (which my OH makes for me) drink my juice then panic and rush for the bus!

I do the same but without the milk

As soon as i'm out the shower (usually still in my dressing gown) I upload the run from my Garmin because I am a geeeekkkk!!!! got to love the stats

haha I'm a geek too although without the Garmin. as soon as a finish my run I stop the mapmyrun app and save the workout. It's quite reassuring and morivating when I look at my last 10 runs to see how I've progressed distance wise ;-)

God, I'm just a slob!!! I get back, have a shower, drink plenty of water, stuff my face and watch Doctors til it's school run time:)

If I'm at the gym I go and have a Latte and a natter!!!!

I walk home, stretch for a bit then drink a smoothie mixed with water & unflavoured whey protein (I generally do another strength training workout in the evening hence the need for the protein), then I shower, sit on the sofa and look at my data on Map My Run while watching a bit of tv & trying to entertain my 6 month old!
