W9R3 Thanks To Everyone

Yesterday I completed my W9 R3 and feel amazing. At the end of the 30 mins I had run 4.4k so kept on running for another 4 mins and hit the 5k that I was aiming for.

I have never run before this podcast and am amazed how it progresses you. Thanks to Laura and everyone involved in putting this programme together. Also thanks to everyone who has posted as your encouragement throughout the blogs that you have written has been great.

I am keeping up with my running as I am doing my 1st ever official 5k run in Edinburgh on 26th May. This is in memory of my mum who passed away on boxing day 2011. It's such a shame she is not here to see my progress but I know she would be proud of me.

Good luck to everyone just starting out with this podcast and well done to everyone sticking to it and completing it. :-)

Alan

congratulations Allyspark, and such a good time. Good luck with your run in May. She definitely would have been proud of you, well done for committing to the plan so early in your grief, I think it really helps.

Well done. Amazing. The 5k in Edinburgh will be a fantastic achievement. Looking forward to getting to that stage myself.
