What a lovely morning for a run...blue skies & sun so glad I dragged myself out there. When I woke up ridiculously early after a late night / early morning with a few vinos I toyed with the idea of just staying in bed. I'm sure the run would have been easier if I'd had no wine & gone to bed at a sensible time...but where is the fun in that? The run has certainly cleared my head & I'm now ready to take on the world. Best go dive in the shower before my guests wake up and expect breakfast!!!
Have a great day everyone

Did my first 4K on Friday so still got some way to go before doing a 5K but hopefully won't be too long so I can be confident of completing the parkrun!
Plus you did it after wine & late night so even better!
To get to 5k I just had to go for longer as I'm still no where near 30 mins. Today I did 38.57 with my best previous time being 39 mins(but as didn't have my lovely Garmin not sure if there were any seconds on that or not).
Today whilst it was a good run it really was a mental challenge as at before 2k my legs felt very heavy and I had to talk myself out of not turning round before 2.5...
You did a fab time today...so nearly at 30 mins...am very jealous but something for me to chase after
Good job. You'll be in great form when you do the first ParkRun
