Not managed to get up early during the school hols so only run once. Well this morning I set off with the best of intentions and the new trial podcast but REALLY struggled! Only managed to run for 20 mins and then didn't manage to stay in time with the faster 160bpm section.
Oh well - at least I got out there! Determined Wednesday will be better! x

You still did it though so good on you! I have been so bad for 2 weeks and also only managed one run last week so am determined to get out there today too. Going to do a Laura run but don't know what week to do? I feel so huge right now I just don't think it's gonna go too well
As for you not keeping up with the pace, I'm not surprised, I did that podcast on a Treadmill and that was hard enough, I think it's definitely harder outside so well done you, you'll soon be back at it
As PB wrote, you still got out there and did a 20minute run, that's really good going.
Hope Wednesday give you a confidence boost You can do it
Can. Ask if you are trialling the new podcasts? I am eagerly anticipating their release but would like to know if they are all about increasing pace or distance or both? Are they designed to help you get to 10k? Many thanks x
yes, definitely increasing distance. Only run for 25 mins and then cool down 5 mins, but run as far as I normally do in 30mins - so i guess that's pace too! Starts at 150 bpm, then 155, which is a lot faster than i normally run with Laura. In the process of putting a play list of my own together using jogfm (which lets you see how many bpm each song has and what speed that would mean you run at) at about 150pbm which should make me run 5k in 30 mins. Not even at 4k yet so some work to do. Don't think the music is great on the new podcast, but definitely making me work harder!
