Well only managed to run 11/2 miles this morning. The wind was so strong and the rain was horizontal at times. Never mind been out and done a little run. !!!!

Congratulations to you Scruff55 on running 11/2 miles in that atrocious weather of rain and gales, also, it won't be very pleasant for Parkruners today, congratulations to all of them as well for braving the elements.

Thanks I’m pleased I did it early as the wind is even worse now and the rain is heavier too.

You should be so chuffed of even attempting to run today . Where I am the winds were 50mph and the rain as you say was coming in all directions.

Hope you're all dry and cosy now. Enjoy the rest of your weekend 😊😊💪

There were 172 running at Drumpelliier who braved the 50mph wind and rain, congratulations to all of them running in that atrocious ☔ weather..

Yes I’ve been to the gym this afternoon to finish off my run. Nice and dry and warm now. Off to Keswick tomorrow weather permitting for a bit of a walk round the lake.

Good for you. I'm glad it's a rest day, I don't mind running in the rain, but I hate the wind.

No I normally don’t mind a bit of rain but today was something else.
