I must confess I have been a bit naughty over the Easter weekend, not only did I over eat + drink, I had 5 days off running. The motivation was definitely waining today, and I was debating repeating run 2. However, I decided to man up and take n run 3 instead. I'm not sure if it was the extra days off or me getting fitter, but cardio wise I didn't really struggle. The main issue I had was that my legs felt like lead the whole way round! However, I was still able to extend my run a little and cover 3.7 km in 26 minutes. After days of feeling very lethargic, I feel revitalised again thanks to this run. I was headed down a slippery slope, but feel motivated again now to tackle the last 9 runs of the program. My advice to anyone else who is lapsing, bite the bullet as it's worth it.

W6 R3
well done thats brilliant you are a runner
Well done W6R3!! That's a brilliant achievement
Glad to hear it was not just me who over indulged! Well done for getting to W6 R3, I am doing that tomorrow, slightly worried
Keep up the hard work!
I think 'man up' should probably be the C25K motto! This programme has taught me so much about mental attitude, discipline, plain old 'getting on with it' and all that. Oh, and we're getting fit into the bargain!!
Great to come on here and offer encouragement to others too - this is what seems to make all the difference. Well done!!
Thanks for all the comments. Forgot to add into the mix, my hangover recovery at the weekend has improved dramatically since starting this program. Not so sure the 2 are linked though!!
Thanks for that, I needed to hear something positive! I have been really bad these last two weeks, haven't really run since last Monday and done nothing but eat, drink and lounge about since Oh dear, I was thinking to myself I would never be able to get back into some kind of rythm again but perhaps I can...Thanks
