So did last run of week 6 and I found it really really hard thought a lot to stop and give up! But I did complete it not sure how I feel about w7 though.

Also my time is not increasing at all I am at about the 3k mark for the running part (not warmup and Down). I can’t go any slower or faster! A bit confused if this is right.

My speed isn't increasing either but i think it's all about slow and steady. When you complete the programme and consolidate that's when you can start on speed if you wish. Well done on completing Week 6. Week 7 isn't as bad as it seems. Just keep it slow and steady. Good luck x

Thanks Oggy! Felt this to be the hardest of all runs... my ankles hurt and I was red in the face for nearly an hour.

Will try week 7 on Sunday need a break

Week three is the daddy 💪. You did it ✅

Batting down hill now mate 😃👍

The programme is no walk in the park. Tackle it slowly and it’ll get you over the hump. You can’t go quicker til you get stronger. Slow running builds running legs. Have faith in the programme and yourself. You’ve come this far 🙂

The pace and distance covered is irrelevant at this stage. Finishing the sessions is the only imperative

Good luck 👍

Thanks I really hope so, I know I feel amazing after each run to believe I have actually done it but today I was slower than any other time and thought something must be wrong.

Great job.

Now, if you were trying to become a 400m runner, not being able to go faster would be a real problem. I’m assuming that’s not your goal. You want to do 5k I guess and you may have a goal time in mind. That’s cool... gives you something to aim at. You won’t however get there unless you have the endurance down first, so not going faster is by far the best way to reach your goals. As a kid who was selected for middle distance running it was drilled into me that on any given run I could work on speed OR distance, never both. For “distance” there read “duration” in this plan. This plan doesn’t give you a short fast run, so it’s all about building and consolidating endurance/distance/duration... there’s no need to go faster.

Thanks I actually don’t know what I would do without your advise. I need you on the app instead of Laura 😄.

Recently I have found that repeating the runs is helping, so may be do Week 6 again - by then your body really will be ready to move on.

Did first run of week 7 on Saturday and that was just as hard going to try ploughing through it. Want to complete the course before the clocks go back as I know I will go into hibernation mode then.
