All in the mind

I started run 2 of wk5 this morning, bit apprehensive going to 8mins, so decided to get up and do it before work. So just as it got light I set off on my 5 min run first! Only it was 8 mins first, I hadn’t looked properly or listen to my coach in my ear and ran on waiting for the 5mins to end so when I got to slow down and hear the”well done you did your first 8 Mins” I was chuffed as it wasn’t too bad , The following 8 was harder but just goes to show , it was easier when I didn’t think about the time! All I need to do now is apply that to the 20 min run coming next lol

That’s made me feel slightly better about week 5 which I’m currently dreading after almost collapsing during week 4 run 1 😂 well done :)
