It wasn't as easy as the first run, and neither was my second run, but I've done all three of them and can proudly tick them off on my chart. I nearly didn't go today - had an unsatisfying day at work and didn't feel energetic, but I'm glad I went. A satisfying start to my weekend.
And I've decided that if I get to the end of week three I'm going to buy myself a lovely little gold ring with a bee on it as a prize...I think prizes every three weeks are the way to go for me, as if I just aim for the end of a nine week programme I might feel like it's too much for me.

well done you you will be surprised how easy week one sounds after you have done a couple more weeks, and this from me who nearly died on week one! keep going week two isn't too bad (well if u like pain and sweat that is ha ha )
I think you mean WHEN you get to the end of Week 3, not IF. Well done completing the first week, you'll be really surprised how well you can do if you follow Laura and make sure you have your rest days. Your first prize sounds lovely. Good luck with week 2.
I've just finished wk 1 run 3 today too. It was a bit harder but I did push myself to run a bit longer. I don't know if that was a good idea, but it did make me feel good.
I also did wk 1 run 3 yesterday - there seems to be quite a few of us at the same point I really enjoyed it, it felt like I could keep going for the first time and am looking forward to Wk 2 now. I like the idea of little prizes at the end of each 3 weeks - that stretch to 9 weeks seems like a lifetime away so maybe having smaller goals is really beneficial *ponders how to treat herself*
i also just done w1r3 this morning and nearly didnt go,glad i did and reading all these blogs has given me a boost.having pain in my knees and while it hasnt gone worse i'm nervous about it.i had decided to do w1 again to built up my stamina(this was mt second week of doing w1 as i didnt really complete day 1&2 the first time i did week 1)not sure what to do now!
