Week 9 run 2 and back outside

Today's run didn't go very well. First time I've said that!! Really struggled and had to stop start a couple of times. Really brought me down and feel "epic fail" today!! I feel pretty exhausted. Had three broken nights sleep with a poorly girl who has been coughing and vomiting. Hoping my final run of week 9 is better :-( x

Hey hey , no 'f' word here ;) you've done amazingly well to get to this point and you should be so so proud - everyone can have an off day.

You'll come back fighting :)

Good luck x

Come on ! You have done SO well so far. It's bound to be a bit harder if you're not sleeping properly. You know you can do this...chin up...days rest and off you go again. Hope your little one is better soon and you get some sleep. Going to congratulate you on your epic achievement very soon.

Aw MB, chin up Missus , done and dusted, put it down to experience and move on. You must be exhausted with looking after the little 'un and not getting much sleep.

Its the biggie next, have a coupla days rest and enjoy your graduation run. Chin up, deep breaths, never ever forget how far you have come. Big hug for you (((( )))) :-) xxx

Botox to any failing. You have done fantastically well and just had an off day which can't be surprising if you are feeling very tired. Consider it a victory - you were due an off day and if this is your first, you have held out longer than probably most of us, well certainly me!

Final run coming up. Kick its backside.

Cheers. I god damned intend to!!! With my new garmin running watch in place. Gonna rock it!!!! X

You haven't failed at all; failing would be to not try in the first place! Lack of sleep really can have that effect and throw everything out of kilter. We all get runs that we think don't go great, for one reason or another, but the next run tends to be much better, so try not to worry about it. :-)

Very good luck for your graduation run!

Hey, not every run is going to feel great, but you did it and you know why it was hard. I'm sure the next one will be great. Good luck!

Hope your little one is better.

Just take an extra day rest and we'll all be cheering you on the finishing line!

As Miles says, you only fail when the couch wins over a run!

Good luck.

Oh mancbird, you couldn't f....f....I can't even say the word, if you tried. You are an inspiration to loads of us on here. Of course lack of sleep has affected you. Jeez I know the long shifts on my feet have made my runs harder lately! But here we are girl. You about to graduate and me starting week 8! Get your mancunian backside out there and smash it. One more time; GET YOUR MANCUNIAN BACKSIDE OUT THERE AND SMASH IT!!

Oooh I feel a change of career coming on...maybe I'll be a personal trainer :P xx

Hey MancBird - a "bad-run-day" is way better than a "no-run-day" .... so you haven't f'ed, especially if you're looking after a poorly peeps through the night! I would maybe take 2 days to recuperate and get your sleeping pattern back, and then try again.

Can't wait to give you a virtual cheer for your graduation run - good luck!

PS: hope your little one's better soon! :)

Thank you. Less coughing in night but still woken up by it. Also it's her last day at nursery before onto BIG school!! Bit tearful!!! xx

Oh Big School! I'm sure you're feeling very emotional! I bet she's really excited though?! I say well done to you for even trying to run when you've got a poorly little one to see to through the night. Don't use the F word - it doesn't exist on here! You will go out in a couple of days time and smash it and we shall all be here with the virtual champagne!! Happy running! xx
