well did this run outside in the lovely fresh air, went well at first but i think i need to change my route as half way through the first 5 mins of running i was going up a hill and that was really hard going, just wanted laura to say thats it and she said just 60 secnds to go , will i make it to the top , puff puff omg only just never been so out of breath wanted to stop but i was determined if i got to the top i had achieved something.plus the rest of the run was all down hill. timed it perfectly as well did a round route and knew exactly where i had to finish to walk the last five minutes and end up right at my door as laura said finish whoo hoo , one more run on friday then i'm in for week 5
week 4 run 2 arggg: well did this run outside in... - Couch to 5K
week 4 run 2 arggg

well done maddykins! just did my wk4 run2 as well, did it outside but not very warm here today, however quite warm by the time I finished! i ran the same route as last weds but couldnt believe how much further around the reservoir I got, so ended up with quite a long walk back! am not thinking about next week, it scares me! it was up and down hills, well gentle slopes to be honest, and briefly, very briefly, I did think this is ok, could perhaps do another minute or two! good luck to you with the last run of week 4!

Well done with your run and great to see such determination, i avoided hills longer than you although they have to be done so sooner rather than later , you wont worry so much over the next couple of runs when a hill appears - been there done that you will hopefully think. Enjoy your friday run.
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum but just piping in to say keep with it! I just completed week 5 today and I was really scared at first. Looking back on both weeks, I think 4 was much more difficult than 5. 4 obviously does a LOT to help with your fitness levels before you get to 5. I was mostly worried about the longer runs, especially 20 minutes with no breaks. Did that today and survived! Keep us updated on your progress - you can do it!

thanks all for the comments love the support on here we're all in the same boat so to speak . wish i could row abit faster lol... keep up at the back! its all a bit hilly round here as i live half way up the hill no avoiding them really unless i get a taxi home loooool. now thats a thought . look forward to reading all your latest blogs x

I did W4 R1 today and found it HARD!! But 16 minutes of running is impressive - that's what I'm telling myself to motivate me to carry on!
