Week three looks a little daunting...

So, I've finished week 2. On Friday, I ran week 2 for the last time and then downloaded week 3 last night.

I have been trying not to look at the upcoming podcasts, but seeing the one I'll be running tomorrow made me a little nervous. It looks like I'll only be doing the same 9 minutes overall, but the jump from 90 seconds to three minutes is quite a change. Twice the running time?

I'm still interested in seeing how it goes, but 3 minutes feels scary...

Am at the same place as you, have just finished week 2, have decided not to look at what you have to do, just going to start with the podcast and hope for the best! good luck x

Sometimes in the first run of a new week, I have had to drop to a walk a bit early - but as I've run for longer than in the previous week, it's still progress. Just repeat so you've run it all three times, and you'll get there.

I ran Wk6/3 yesterday and I swear that increasing from 20 to 25mins felt less hard than putting in an extra 90 secs in Wk3. The programme never asks for too much.

Oops... Sorry for ruining the surprise. I think she starts the podcasts by telling you what you will be doing, so hopefully it wasn't too much of a spoiler...

I've just done week 3 - just keep thinking that you're running the same amount as in week 2 and it's not too bad at all :)

I always listen to the next week's podcast the day before I do it, I'm listening to week 4 now, I don't like surprises ;)

I've always looked ahead (at the description on the website just above the podcast download area) and thought 'nah - can't do that' but I always have managed it so far. I think part of the trick is to make your speed at the start (or any other time you anticipate difficulty) REALLY slow - yesterday my last run took me up an increasingly steep hill and I thought at one poujnt I was just jogging on the spot...... but I got there, dammit!!

Not what you're looking for?
