Early start on a beautiful fresh sunny morning. 28 minute run done. Felt ok, ran a familiar route with “checkpoints” along the way regarding pace. However the fact I maintained nose breathing rather than mouth breathing was key.
I’m having an extra rest day between runs now to help with recovery. Also, with a better warm up and cool down practice, running before work is too stressful of a morning! As I get a bit better I might try an after work run to get 3 times a week down.
Nearly there, though. Running about 3.4km in 28 minutes so I might get to 4km in 30? I’ll be graduating for the second time and this time I’m going to get gait analysis and new trainers because I think this is where the hard work starts. My aim was to run/jog 3 times a week for 30 minutes so that will be my next goal 😊🏃🏻♀️🌟
