Just completed week 8 run 1 🤗 but it was tough and I clearly wasnt going fast enough lol. In the actual 28 minutes of running I managed 4.18k How will I possibly get to 5k in 30 minutes running time?

Hi Buppy. Just started the programme but a few years ago I did couch to 10K and all the advice was never worry about speed, never try to go more than 10% faster or longer per week. The key is to avoid injury and fatigue. and get miles in your legs. Speed comes naturally. You will run 5k it just might take longer than 30 minutes but who cares! 5k is amazing and you will get wuicker. Hope that helps

You don't have to get to 5k in 30 mins. So slow and steady. I just graduated and am sure I am nowhere near 5K XX its all about increasing distance not getting quicker at this time x

Don’t worry about speed / distance it will come with time . Main thing is ur up and 🏃♀️
