Started the couch to 5k again

Well it's been a long while since I've posted in here. Since I originally started the couch to 5k many years ago and up till a year ago I roughly did a 5k run once a month, still putting on my mascara and rewarding myself with a medal. I now have a nice collection but would only choose ones I liked.😄. I even found one that was a couch to 5k medal.

I have struggled during the last year trying to get some motivation back as I gave up slimming world, going to the gym and going out for a run. Putting on weight, having lack of energy and basically feeling rubbish about myself certainly hasn't helped.

But .. today I decided to go out and start at the beginning again of the couch to 5k. I was tempted just to go straight for the 5k but thought better of it. I made the right decision by not doing that as it was a far more enjoyable outing and will go out again in a couple of days.

I just need to keep up this up, it's not as though I haven't got the trainers, the running gear or the mascara.

I graduated today for a second time after last doing it 8 years ago and swearing I would never do it again. I gave up in August 2020.

This time the 9 weeks went by so fast and I feel so much better for doing it. Running is really good for me and my head/mood so keep going and let us know how you go

Welcome back... ! Yes, I am still here... ! So good to see you... and good to know you are determined to get back on track,

Many of us have repeated C25K, more than once, because of illness, injury or simply life issues. Me included. About to begin, yet again, after a couple of years of unexpected chaos and upset ! In track again too and in good company!

Slow and steady is still my favourite mantra... and I look forward to your posts and progress! Well done!
