So, following on from my post the other day where I could not complete my run 2 of week 8 and I lost all my mojo! I just want to thank everyone who took the time to comment and leave some advice and inspiration. I took it all on board and gave myself a talking to at work today. I went out for a run straight after work, and before it got too dark. I slowed down to avg. of 8.10/km (from 7.47/km) and I managed to get into a good stride, I took lots of deep breaths and kept telling myself I got this.... and, I managed to run for 30 minutes!!! Ran 3.7km, not quite 4km but I am happy I managed it and the run was "ok". I definitely need to find a new route as I do think I am a bit bored of the local park.

So YAY! I feel like I have made a bit of a come-back from the dire feelings on Saturday. Thank you so much to everyone for the support :) Looking forward now to hitting the 4km and then the park run!
