W7 finally done - walking

This week has been quite difficult for me. For a variety of reasons I have repeated the whole week.

As my name might imply I am walking the C25K, do to my medical situation, but am doing this on the recommendation of a specialist physio.

Up to this point I have been managing ok just needing to repeat occasional sessions. But week seven I have found really hard, so I'm not sure how I'll do on week 8 but we will move on and see how it goes.

Is any one else walking C25K?

I'm not walking it but am interested to know how you are doing this. Is it a slow walk/fast walk rather than brisk walk/run?

Whichever it is, great to have you here and writing of your progress. Good luck with it all.

Hi, its a normal walk and then a brisk walk - though compared to what I could do before my medical situation changed it's slow walk normal walk 🙂

that’s brilliant! If you ever need more fellow walkers, we also have an Active10 forum of walkers at healthunlocked.com/active10

I think this is brilliant! Well done!

Great that you are doing this and great that your physio has recommended it. Week 7 will have prepared you for week 8, so good luck with that and week 9 - you have obviously done brilliantly so far!

Thank you for your comment, just hoping it will be like when I did the first 20 minute walk I was not sure I would make it but did.

Hi, yes, I'll do walking. My knee went early and had 5 weeks physio. I won't give up. I will go for satisfaction than speed . :-)
